Hi-Tec Archery Technology
Our engineers have created the Gyro-Tec Bows with the high performance design and precise accuracy any archer will appreciate.
All Gyro-Tec Bows are center-fire -- which means they are designed so that the arrow actually comes from the center of the bow. This is accomplished with our exclusive, patented Center Thrust Points, which pivot vertically and horizontally. These points transfer all the energy through the exact center of the bow. Once you release the string, all the energy is thus transferred through the thrust points allowing the arrow to travel through the exact center of the bow, giving you a perfect nock path.
To achieve a perfect nock path, the nock and the thrust points have to be perfectly aligned, otherwise the nock will align itself with the thrust point. On other bows, the handle -- which is the thrust point -- and the nock are not aligned. Upon release of the string, the nock and the thrust points then have to align themselves, thus causing the bow to cant, which throws off your nock path. On our bows, our nock and thrust points are perfectly aligned, which allows us to achieve this perfect nock path.
With the use of our patented, pivoting Center Thrust Points, it allows our handle to free float, pivoting vertically and horizontally, eliminating wrist torque. You can grip the ergonomic handle any way you like, but once you release the string, only the handle will move -- the bow will remain stable. With the vertical thrust point it allows you to shoot up hill or down hill with no need to compensate for hand position.
The Center Thrust Points allow the arrow to be nocked in the center of the string. The advantage of this feature is that it allows the identical top and bottom cams to release at the same time and with the same energy and force, thus achieving a virtually perfect nock path.
The handle is off-set below, to allow the arrow to shoot from the center. Our 45 degree handle is ergonomically structured to allow for comfort, as well as giving the user extreme string clearance.
All our bows come equipped with an arm support that rests on the forearm to prevent the handle from pivoting horizontally when drawing. The pressure is thus transferred from the wrist to the forearm, providing greater ease and accuracy.
Center Thrust Points
At the heart of this incredibly revolutionary approach to archery is our Patented Pivoting Center Thrust Points which allow the handle to free-float by pivoting horizontally and vertically, allowing for a more accurate shot. It allows the bow to remain stable by pivoting with the natural twist of the wrist that accompanies the release of the string. The handle is off-set for a true center-fire nocking, which allows you to shoot an arrow exactly in the center of the string.
Upper Window Riser
The window-shaped upper riser design allows the archer to mount their sights on either side. It also helps to make a more balanced bow.
Hi-Velocity Series Cam
Unlike single cam or "cam-and-a-half" bows, our top and bottom cams are identical. With the use of our patented pivoting center thrust points, it allows an archer to shoot an arrow in the exact center of the string, making both cams release at the same time and with the same energy and force, giving you a perfect nock path. All cams have shielded ball bearings in both top and bottom cams for an extremely low rolling resistance. The bearings have a tighter tolerance which make them consistent with varying conditions and require no lubricants.
Limb Pocket
Our precision CNC-machined limb pockets provide perfect riser and limb pocket alignment. It also has a built-in vibration dampener allowing for quieter operation and longer limb life.
Handle
Our ergonomically structured 45 degree handle, picots vertically from the center of the bow, giving you perfect uphill or downhill shots. Made of fortified nylon, it fits virtually all archers.
Limbs
Five-layer fiberglass laminated limbs have a recurve design. The limbs consist of two cross grain layers which make for a more durable limb, and are sized for better lateral and torsional stability. They are designed for a lighter limb, while providing increased arrow speed.
Arm Support
The arm support rests on the forearm to prevent the vertical pivot of the handle when drawing. The pressure is thus transferred from the wrist to the forearm.
Upper Cam
The use of our NEW patented Gimbal Technology allows an archer to shoot an arrow exactly in the center of the string, making both cams release at the same time and with the same energy and force, giving you a perfect nock path. The cams have a shielded ball bearing in both top and bottom cams for an extremely low rolling resistance. The bearings have a tighter tolerance and are consistent in varying conditions and require no lubricants
Lower Cam
Unlike single cam or 'cam-and-a-half' bows, our top and bottom cams are identical.
